Epic shit that draws on things only you can do: your stories, your experiences and your own unique combinations of skills, strengths and interests.
Epic shit that makes the world a brighter place.
As a creative and/or multi-passionate, it can often feel like you’re drowning in ideas and don’t know where to star, or how to combine your skills, strengths and experiences in a way that works for YOU. You have so many notebooks and projects but it feels so hard to get shit rolling.
You can get frustrated trying to bring your dreams to life because you can see the vision, but it’s hard to get down to action and see exactly what you need to do to make shit happen.
You can end up spending approximately a gazillion years in the planing stages because you’re too scared to put yourself out there, instead of getting shit done.
And sometimes you just feel like throwing your hands up in the air and saying fuck this shit and giving up because it feels so damn hard.
They are designed specifically for creative multi-passionates, doers, makers and world shakers who want to bring their ideas, creativity and dreams into reality and make their life a whole lot more fulfilling at the same time.
For Couragemakers who want to shine bright and bring what only they can do into the world.
Each session is designed for a different part of the creative journey – from the excitement of brainstorming and developing ideas to the self-doubt and overwhelm that so often comes with putting epic shit in the world.
And while each of them cover a different leg of the journey, the same values underpin each session:
I’m Meg Kissack and I’m the creator of That Hummingbird Life & The Couragemakers Podcast.
I created the Epic Shit Sessions because I want to create a world where the history books are overflowing with messy, creative and courageous stories of women who chose themselves and gave the world only what they can do.
For The Epic Shit Sessions, I combine my 8+ years of experience in project development, community development, activism and campaigns to help you do the work only you can do. I’ve worked formally and informally with small to big NGOs, community groups and individuals to develop ideas into tangible world-changing projects.
My work is grounded in practical action, alignment with values and more encouragement than you can shake a stick at!
To you, it might be a book idea.
To your reader it might just be the thing that makes her embrace who she is.
To you, it might be starting a new project.
To the world, it might be a beacon of hope.
To you, it might be putting all of your heart into something that might not work out.
To the world, it might just be the very thing we need the most.
